Good Governance in Sport: Parity in the Boardroom
|Duration||54 Minutes 50 Seconds|
|Author||Sport Integrity Global Alliance|
|Description||SIGA works towards a vision of sport played and governed under the highest integrity standards, free from any form of unethical, illicit and criminal activity, to safeguard sports values and ensure its positive impact and benefits to all citizens. Despite progress, women continue to face significant barriers to equality, with women doing most of the world’s unpaid work. Working cultures remain out of date with unconscious bias pervasive. Whether in sports bodies, marketing, broadcasting, sponsorship or in policy, women remain underrepresented in decision-making roles, which has a knock-on effect on how the sport is run and governed. Webinar streamed live on 8 Mar2021 as part of SIGA's 2021/2022 Global Agenda on Female Empowerment and Leadership in Sport.|
