The event was attended by the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall and brought together key business leaders, innovators, NGOs, politicians, media and other key stakeholders to discuss and demonstrate the progress society is making in tackling ocean plastic pollution from source to sea.

The launch of the Club Development Community on HIVE will keep clubs at the heart of everything Scottish Swimming does and it continues to support them through Governance workshops and Volunteer Management forums. 2018 also saw great success on the World Stage, with medals at the Commonwealth Games, European Championships and the IPC World Swimming European Championships. Scottish Swimming thanks all of its athletes, coaches, volunteers, officials, clubs, partners and sponsors for their enormous contribution in helping deliver success in 2018 across the aquatic pathway.
