Females

Lauren Cox (01:01.60) was the Phase 3 star performer on Day 1 finishing 0.24s off A Final gold to take silver in the 100m Backstroke behind Katalin Burian (Hungary). Millfield's Rachel Anderson (01:04.78) finished fourth in the B Final, one place ahead of Ceara Barber (01:05.68).

Maisie Elliott (02:15.82) went 2.57s faster than the prelims finishing sixth in the 200m Butterfly A Final which Liliana Szilagyi (Hungary, 02:09.57) won by a margin of 2.17s.

Millfield's Jessica Podger swam 02:26.87 in the 200m IM prelims. Ranked 16th after the prelims, Honey Osrin (02:20.27) went on to win the 200m IM B Final in which Kayla Van Der Merwe 02:22.87) finished third and Charlotte Rigg (02:23.58) fourth. Fantine Lesaffre (France, 02:13.03) won the A Final.

Van Der Merwe also took the remaining 50m Breaststroke B Final place with 34.32 and went on to finish second (00:33.08) behind Elena Guttmann (Austria, 00:32.87). Fanny Deberghes (France, 00:31.53) won the A Final.

There were more progressions in the 50m Freestyle as fastest qualifier for the Junior final Sophie Yendell got into the B Final, going 0.07s faster to record 00:27.03. Honey Osrin (00:27.30) finished second in the 14-17 Yrs final won by Valerie Salens (CN Nyon, 00:27.03). Olympian Charlotte Bonnet won the A Final in 00:24.83.

Males Millfield's Will Mitchell clocked 00:31.13 in the 50m Breaststroke prelims. Adam Metcalfe improved from 00:29.80 to record 00:29.62 for third place in the B Final won by Matthia Lott (CN Marseille, 00:29.28). Lithuania's star Giedrius Titenis (00:28.52) won the A Final.

Mitchell also featured in the 50m Butterfly prelims (00:28.39) as Sam Dailley and Metcalf went on to clockd 00:25.72  and 00:26.23 respectively in the Junior 15-18 Yrs final. Jérémy Stravius won the A Final with 23.99.

Edward Mildred (04:31.01) and Robbie Jones (04:41.76) finished 4th and 7th in the 400m IM B Final. Hungarian champion David Verraszto (04:14.13) won the A Final.

Jacob Davies (00:58.36) was joined by Jones (01:01.47) in the 100m Back Junior Final, finishing second and eighth respectively. Yohann NDoye Brouard (Dauphins D'Annecy, 00:54.35) beat Stravius to gold in the A Final.

Samuel Osbourne (04:03.26) placed second and Mildred (04:11.09) eighth in the 400m Free Junior Final. Tunisian Mehdi Lagili (03:51.47) won the A Final.
