2017 Annual General Meeting

President Paul Sartain and the President-Elect, Alyson Bashford, welcomed as many members as possible to the 115th Annual General Meeting of Somerset ASA at The Corner House Hotel, Park Street, Taunton TA1 4DQ on 27 May (10am for 10.30am)

The AGM was followed by refreshments courtesy of Alyson and Taunton Deane SC.

31 officers, delegates and guests attended, including Sue Dors and David Flack, President and Chairman respectively of ASA South West Region. 13 of the County's 32 Clubs and Associated Organisations were represented.

Those present observed a minute's silence to show their support for victims of the Manchester Arena attack.

Outgoing President, Paul Sartain (Bath Dolphin) is pictured above with our new President Alyson Bashford (Tanton Deane). We thank Paul for his tireless contribution during the period of office and wish Alyson an enjoyable year ahead.

Your President Elect 2018 is Colin Christmas (Minehead and West Somerset).

The event order for County Synchronised Swimming Championships has changed. We will be doing the solo’s on Friday 14 July 2017 at Taunton (8-9pm) as the pool is deeper and the figures will take place on the Saturday 15 July at Wellington School pool from 4.30-6pm.
