17-year-old swimmer Edgaras Matakas dives into complete darkness. Edgaras has not been able to see since he was 15 years old. He was the only disabled swimmer to represent Lithuania at the 2016 Paralympics.

In Rio Edgaras took part in 50, 100 and 400m swims. He came eighth in the 400m final (05:30.66), tenth over 100m (1:06.09) and eleventh over 50m (27.86s and a Lithuanian record).

His coach Ramūnas Leonas says Edgaras is still young enough to compete at least at three Paralympic Games.

The whole story about Edgaras is a part of a multimedia project, "Will to Win“ (http://www.nanook.it/en/will-to-win/)
