Jack Laugher claimed the third Olympic medal of his career at Tokyo 2020 in the 3m springboard diving competition in Tokyo – completing his full set with a hard-fought bronze. This followed Laugher’s gold and silver successes at Rio 2016, where he became Great Britain’s first-ever diving Olympic champion alongside Chris Mears.

Russell Mark has a degree in aerospace engineering and was formerly USA Swimming High-Performance Manager over two decades. Swimming from Lanzarote to Fuerteventura, Canary Islands

An amazing 16km Swim (in a straight line it’s 15km) from Lanzarote to Fuerteventura, Canary Islands - La Bocaina channel. Water temperature was 20 degrees and no jelly fish. Perfect start to the summer open water season. It took 4 hrs 40mins. A little choppy in places, but good boat support. The swim was arranged through local experts Swim Lanzarote.

Nort Thornton was one of the deans of college coaching in the United States and the University of California. He was Berkeley’s (Cal’s) longest-tenured coach before retiring after 33 years at the helm of the Golden Bears men’s swimming and diving program in 2007. He was named US National Coach of the Year twice and was a four-time selection as Pac-10 Coach of the Year. He was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame in 1995 and into the Cal Athletics Hall of Fame in 2010.
