Description | What a difference a year makes! We have only been back in the water and back spectating since late April but there's already been a full calendar of events and activities at all levels. Along with Learn to Swim and membership numbers returning we can look to the future with more swimmers enjoying the sport. It has taken a huge effort from many volunteers and partners in pushing the sport beyond the times of restrictions and looking towards a brighter future. The 2022 Annual Report provides a small flavour of the work over the past year, as well as providing a platform for the new Corporate Plan, providing a new direction, which has been shaped with the insight and input of our membership. Scottish Swimming is the national governing body for swimming in Scotland, representing clubs, swim schools, aquatic sport, athletes, coaches and thousands of talented and committed volunteers across the entire swimmer pathway from development and participation through to performance. Our vision is to ensure that every single person in Scotland has access to quality swimming programmes, regardless of age or ability. |
