New documentary coming soon looking into the causes of poor black swimming attainment
Ed Accura has been working on a new documentary interviewing the black community as to why issues exist around barriers to swimming.
Ed Accura is a London born songwriter, producer, rapper and host of ‘In The Deep Side’ podcast. He is also the screenwriter and producer of both film documentaries in the Blacks Can’t Swim franchise, directed by award-winning filmmaker Mysterex (MO-AM).
Blacks Can’t Swim: REWIND is a new film documentary following two separate stories – that of both a 15-year-old boy and a girl. Both struggle with the effects of the stigmas and stereotypes that have helped shaped the narrative and thought process as to why a disproportionate number of Black and Asians in England do not swim.
The film will be released on Monday 4 July 2022.
