Taunton School has an exciting opportunity for a passionate Swimming teacher to deliver the ‘Learn to Swim’ programme there in line with the Swim England Learn to Swim framework, teaching every child to love swimming, respect the water and swim skillfully.
You will need to passionate about swimming, with a desire to ensure a high quality provision to the School and the wider community. Working on your own initiative, with minimal supervision, you will need to be proactive, flexible and dedicated to providing exceptional customer service. You will manage a team, and take an active role in the recruitment of new staff.
The successful candidate will be a qualified Level 2 Swimming teacher. Possession of a first aid qualification, along with the RLSS NPLQ Lifeguard certificate or NRASTC qualification are essential.
About the Swim School and Sports Club
The Swim School has some 700 swimmers and follows the Swim England ‘Learn to Swim’ pathway. It operates for 50 weeks of the year.
