Kelly Podbury, Swimming & Competition Secretary writes:
We convened a meeting which has just been held virtually to discuss the County Championships in light of the Covid situation and have agreed tonight that spectators will not be able to attend.
We have also agreed that all those attending the Championships must have a Lateral Flow Test the night before or the morning of each day of competition and report it through the normal Government reporting channels.
We understand that there may be supply issues of LFT so can all those attending ensure they have ample stock to test throughout the Counties - this includes swimmers, officials, volunteers, coaches and team managers.
We will be meeting weekly from now in the run up to the Counties and communications will come out shortly after the meeting. The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday 23 December 2021 at 7.30pm.
If anyone has any questions they would like to ask, please can they submit them to me.
