Video: Match 11 Day 1 highlights.

With no Aqua Centurion presence this time around, the Women's 100m Butterfly saw Match 10's second and third placed Aly Tetzloff (TOK, 56.02) and Svetlana Chimrova (NYB, 56.52) each step up, swimming faster times. Alys Thomas (IRO, 57.57) and Harriet Jones (TOK, 58.55) placed sixth and eighth.

New York's Jakub Majerski recorded his first win with the only sub 50s time in the Men's 100m Butterfly, finishing 0.08s ahead of a late charge from Camden Murphy (DCT).

When they met in Match 10, Iron's Ingeborg Loyning finished 0.09s ahead of Gabby DeLoof. Two days later in a slower race, Loyning now finished eighth, almost 3.5s off her previous pace. Tokyo's DeLoof led throughout to take the Women's 200m Backstroke win by 0.19s from Daryna Zevina (NYB, 2:04.66).

A personal best and ISL Season 3 event best time by Jacob Pebley (1:48.59) kickstarted DC Trident in the Men's 200m Backstroke. Grigory Tarasevich (TOK, 1:50.23) touched the pad 1.64s behind in second place.

New York Breakers enjoyed a much needed 1-2 in the Women's 200m Breaststroke as both Abbie Wood (2:19.11) and Molly Renshaw (2:19.34) improved on their Match 10 times and were the only sub 2:20s swimmers in the race.

Iron's Erik Persson (2:02.88) left it late in the Men's 200m Breaststroke to overtake Cody Miller (DCT, 2:02.93) for another win, this time by 0.05s. Daiya Seto (TOK, 2:03.83) came third and a jackpotted James Wilby (NYB, 2:09.09) eighth.

DC Trident's Isabella Hindley (51.99) and Anna Hopkin (51.06) will have been given a huge confidence boost by their performances in a monster 24 point Women's 4x100m Freestyle 3:28.79 relay win over Iron (3:30.38). Following Hindley handing over a 1.19s deficit to Hopkin but importantly still in second place, the Team Bath alumna went on to blast out the fastest split of all 32 swimmers and the third fastest event split of Season 3, enabling her to pass on a 1.29s lead to Annika Bruhn. Lucy Hope (53.66) led off a seventh placed New York Breakers team and Alys Thomas clocked 55.65 for Iron.

DC Trident's winning form continued with Ryan Hoffer (21.13) edging Iron's Match 10's Skins winner Thom de Boer by 0.06s in the Men's 50m Freestyle.

Isabella Hindley's breakthrough performance continued with a third placed 24.20 swim, just 0.01s behind Catie DeLoof (TOK) in the Women's 50m Freestyle which served up a first win in the event this Season for Ranomi Kromowidjoj (23.74).

DC Trident's Andreas Vazaios (1:51.15) switched on his after-burners in the freestyle leg to take out long time leader Daiya Seto (TOK, 1:51.80) for another Men's 200m Individual Medley win which was just 0.03s outside Seto's Season 3 best time set in Match 6. Joe Litchfield (NYB, 1:54.47) finished fifth.

After their tie in Match 10, Abbie Wood (NYB) came second in 2:04.94 in this Women's 200m Individual Medley event, just 0.08s behind Yui Ohashi (TOK,2:04.86). Molly Renshaw (NYB) clocked 2:10.63 in seventh place.

Iron's Ida Hulkko (29.68) recorded a first Season 3 win in the Women's 50m Breaststroke, producing the only sub 30s swim. NYB duo Sarah Vasey (30.28) and Molly Renshaw (31.25) placed third and seventh while Tatiana Belonogoff (30.58) placed fifth for DC Trident.

Jacob Whittle (47.23) and Matt Richards (47.33) led off their respective Men's 4x100m Freestyle NYB (3:06.75) and Iron (3:08.76) quartets, handing over in third and fourth places. Whittle's Breakers went on to record a win over DC Trident by 0.07s while Richards' team finished fifth.

Sounds like a quiz question, but how many DeLoofs can you fit in a Women's 50m Backstroke event? Well 3 on this occasion as DC Trident's Ali DeLoof matched Iron's Melanie Henique to tie the race on 26.32 while sisters Gabby and Catie DeLoof representing Tokyo placed seventh and eighth.

Mark Nikolaev (DCT, 22.98) beat Robert Glinta (IRO, 23.01) to the wall by 0.03s for a first Season 3 win in the Men's 50m backstroke in which Joe Litchfield (NYB, 23.46) placed fifth.

Top 3 in the Women's 400m Freestyle were Joanna Evans (DCT, 4:00.14), Barbora Seemanova (IRO, 4:02.44) and Abbie Wood (NYB, 4:03.21).

Bendon Smith (NYB) made it five event wins out of five for Season 3 in the Men's 400m Freestyle by clocking 3:37.11 which also lowered his own ISL Season 3 best time for the event by 2.09s. Luiz Altamir Melo (IRO, 3:40.61) was next to finish, 3.5s back.

With the battle to end Day 1 between DC Trident and Iron in full swing, Iron (3:49.91) finished first in the Women's 4x100m Medley Relay, 0.31s and 4 points ahead of their rivals in second for whom Tatiana Belonogoff clocked 1:05.52 with Anna Hopkin (51.17) recording the second fastest freestyle split in pursuit of Ranomi Kromowidjojo (50.86). However Iron'stop 2's points margin was offset by a fifth placed 8 point finish for DCT thanks to the fourth fastest freestyle split anchored by Isabella Hindley (52.06) vs 6 points earned by for sixth placed Iron who had featured Alys Thomas (57.83). Molly Renshaw's busy programme saw her clock 1:05.00 for New York's third placed team while team mate Sarah Vasey produced 1:06.56 for their other relay.

There were second (3:23.36) and fourth place finishes for DC Trident in the Men's 4x100m Medley Relay which was won by Tokyo Frog Kings (3:22.76) Matt Richards (47.00) anchored Iron (3:24.55) to third place. Joe Litchfield (51.35) led off NewYork's faster team to a sixth placed finish.
