Maximum Performances Summer Swim Camp 2019 is a 5-day action-packed swimming training programme focused on the improvement of skills and the progression of swimming techniques in the inspirational environment of the world-renowned Millfield School. 

Swimmers have the space and time to fine-tune all four strokes, starts and turns, relay takeovers and master their racing strategies in an Olympic-sized som pool. 

The course programme - designed and delivered by Double Olympian Edward 
Sinclair - comprises of long course swimming sessions, group video analysis, team-building games, swimming-specific land training sessions, interesting lectures and  motivational presentations by Olympians or international swimmers.

Facilities
Millfield School has some of the most impressive training facilities of any school in the country. The Maximum Performances campers will benefit from the use of its 5om training pool, swim-down pool and other great indoor and outdoor facilities during the land-training sessions and lectures. 

The Olympic-standard swimming pool is built to FINA/Swim England standards and has eight lanes with a 1.8 metre constant depth. There is also a 13 metre by 7 metre swim-down pool with a constant depth of 1 metres. 

Accommodation
Residential course members will stay in the school's boarding houses, situated just minutes from the swimming pool. They may be required to share a bedroom. 

House facilities include a common room with TV and DVD/video player, kitchen with tea/coffee making facilities, snacks and cold drinks and a recreational area. 

Bed linen is provided but participants should bring their own towels and toiletries. No laundry facilities are provided. 

Each house has a residential co-ordinator who is responsible for the running of the house and the health and welfare of the campers staying there. Members of staff are accommodated in the same houses as the campers in order to provide 24 hour supervision. 

Dining & Allergens
There is always a healthy choice of food, including vegetarian options. Healthy snacks are provided several times a day. Millfield adheres to the 2014 EU regulations, which require the identification of specific allergens in food. The regulations are designed to improve the nutritional and allergen information provided to pupils, helping them to make informed choices.

Supervision 
Dedicated coaches and experienced residential staff are on duty at all times each day. Campers are never left unsupervised.
