FFN Golden Tour Camille Muffat 2018 - Nice Day 3

Bath National Centre's James Guy and  Jazz Carlin won their second gold medals of the meet on Day 3.

Guy's win came in 200m Freestyle (1:48.03) having qualified sixth fastest in 01:51.33. Tunisian Mehdi Lagili (1:49.13) claimed silver and Frances's Alexandre Derache (01:49.63, Amiens Metropole) bronze.

Six minutes later Guy was back in the pool racing the A final of the 100m Butterfly as fastest qualifier on 54.45. James came in eighth (56.08) with gold going to Switzerland's Jeremy Desplanches (53.82, Olympic Nice Natation) and silver to Mehdy Metella (53.93, CN Marseille).

Carlin (Swim Wales) added to Day 1's 800m Freestyle win by securing gold in the A Final of the 400m event for which she had qualified fourth fastest in 4:20.76. Carlin extended her 0.66s lead at 250m over Fantine Lesaffre (4:16.58, Montpellier Metropole) to win gold (4:13.86) by 2.72s. Bronze went to Serbian Anja Crevar (04:18.19).
