Persimmon Homes Grant is the Real Deal

Highbridge para-swimmer Harriet Dickinson has been awarded £750 from the £600,000 Persimmon Homes South West Healthy Communities scheme which supports sports people under 21 years old.

Harriet trains roughly 16 hours a week with Clevedon ASC and Gloucester City Swimming Clubs and competes in five national and international competitions a year with training costs of more than £100 a month.

A delighted Harriet said:  “I am thrilled to receive this generous donation. I also teach and coach swimming for both able bodied and para-swimmers and am currently looking to fund my next coaching course, which costs £700. This donation is a massive help.”

From May to December 2017, Persimmon Homes' 30 monthly donations of £750 each have been helping teams and individuals aged 21 and under purchase sports kits and equipment

In January 2018 Persimmon Homes' 30 businesses will choose one entry to go forward into their national competition for a massive national prize of £200,000. They will also be awarding two runners up prizes of £50,000 each and 27 finalist awards of £5,000 each.

We thank Persimmon Homes for their generous donation and creating lasting legacies for clubs and individuals.
