The ASA and British Swimming Sports Presentation Managers Course

Saturday 7 August 2010 (10am to 4pm) - Ponds Forge International Sports Centre, Sheffield

A one day FREE master-class held in conjunction with the British Gas ASA National Youth Swimming Championships 2010
Closing Date: Friday 30 July 2010

Are you organised and creative with the ability to bring the room to life?

British Swimming and the ASA are inviting you to come and take part in an exclusive Sports Presentation Managers’ Course, and the best part is it’s free. If you think you can raise the roof and be part of a dynamic team helping to take British aquatics to bigger audiences then this could be the thing for you.

The opportunity is open to those aged 18 and over and looking to get directly involved in delivering exciting sports presentation at our aquatic events.

We will help you gain knowledge and insight into what makes aquatic events so exciting to attend and how they help athletes to perform at their very best on a national and world stage.

If you become a Sports Presentation Manager you will be involved in all aspects of the event, from the sound system and music selection, to the commentary scripts and liaising with broadcasters.

To apply for one of the limited places on the course just download this flyer, and fill out the form and return it to: The Events Team, The ASA, Pavillion 3, SportPark, 3 Oakwood Drive, Loughborough University, Leicestershire, LE11 3QF.

All applications must be received no later than Friday 30 July 2010.

Please circulate to anyone within the South West region who you think might be interested to attend this training course. If you have any questions about the course please contact
