Youngsters can take advantage of cut-price swimming lessons at Churchill Sports Centre during half term. North Somerset Council is running a course leading to the ASA/UKCC level 1 certificate in teaching aquatics from February 13 to 19.

Children are required from Monday 15 to Friday 19 February 2010, so prospective teachers can practise their teaching and coaching skills on real students.

Children must be at least five years old and can be of any ability.

A reduced price of £13 will be charged for the five sessions during the week.
